Greenhouse Tulips - the greenhouse production is in a full swing. We spend each morning picking tulips before the sun has a chance to open them to much. We bunch them, put them in a protective sleeve, and put them in a cooler to chill after the warm greenhouse. Few hours later they are ready to be boxed, labeled and of they go to the final destination. We usually have several varieties ready to be picked, so we always have supply of different colors and shapes . Field tulips - sometime in March we will start picking the field tulips. Our earliest year started March 17th. The first varieties are always the Pink and Red Impressions. The field tulips are often larger and more robust than the greenhouse tulips, but perhaps not as perfect, being exposed to rain, wind, hail, etc. I find the colors very vibrant and rich. We will keep picking into April. After the field tulips are gone we’ll be back again in the greenhouse where we will bring chilled bulbs from the coolers. Keeping the bulbs in a dark cooler fools them to think it is still winter and it is not time to bloom yet. When they are exposed to sun and warmth in the greenhouse they bloom quickly and give us beautiful flowers in May for Mother’s Day. |

Daffodils - We have been picking them in our fields for a couple of weeks now. The field season starts with the typical yellow trumpet varieties, ends with the multi flowering, fragrant varieties. Perhaps the latest variety is the very fragrant , very pretty Geranium. |

Tulip Patch - Early April is usually the very best time to enjoy the tulips. This year the display field is located right by Grange Hall Rd, south of our store.
New this year - we will have a U-pick tulips available. |
Strawberries - we have been growing strawberries for the last 20 some years. This year we are growing Hoods and Shaksons, the ‘true’ Oregon varieties that are sooooo sweet. They are delicious, but the trade off is - they do not store. So, pick them in the morning, eat them in the evening. We offer U-pick and We-pick. |

Tulips - thanks to our forcing program in our greenhouses, we offer many tulip varieties in January. You can find tulips to purchase in our Store, or you can just pick up a phone and we’ll deliver them to you. Daffodils - we also force early daffodils. What we have to offer are the cheerful yellow cup daffodils. They can cheer up anyone on the grayest of a January day. |

July is statistically the busiest wedding month of the year. We love our brides and have fun participating in their most beautiful day of their lives, making it even more beautiful. There are very few things more pretty that a wedding bouquet. We offer free bridal consultation, come and talk to us about your dreams. |

Our focus is still on weddings. We deliver wedding flowers throughout the whole Willamette Valley. Check with us how far we can go. Sometimes we are asked if we have ‘wedding packages’. Our answer is no. In the last almost 20 years we have never done two wedding flowers that were the same. Just as there are no two the same brides, there are no two the same weddings. Each is a combination of unique components. The outcome is always special. |

The first pumpkins and winter squashes are ready. We grow more than 60 varieties. Many are delicious to eat, all of them are beautiful to look at.
